Chase Rice
Chase Rice (been born 19 of September of 1985 in Ormond Beach, Florida) is a singer of American music country, composer and personality of the television of reality. He co-wrote the single "Cruise" made by the Florida Georgia Line. He released the EP Ready Set Roll, with the single "Ready Set Roll", on October 15, 2013. The full-length album Ignite the Night was released on August 19, 2014 and includes "Ready Set Roll". On August 27, 2014, Ignite The Night debuted at # 1 on the best Billboard Country albums.
First he gained fame in 2010, when he was a contestant in Survivor: Nicaragua, where he was runner-up of Jud "Fabio" Birza.
Born in Florida, Rice grew up on a farm in Asheville, North Carolina. He attended AC Reynolds High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a football linebacker, but did not pursue an NFL career due to an injury.
After graduating from UNC, Rice was selected to participate in the Hendrick Motorsports team of mechanics as the rear wheel support for Ryan Newman's Nationwide Series car. He also worked on the Jimmie Johnson Sprint Cup car and won two championships with the Lowe's team. Read more on Last.fm.
